As an experienced immigration lawyer, he has successfully represented hundreds of immigration clients to gain their visas/green cards through either investment, employment, family or humanitarian reasons. He is a frequent speaker and writer on U.S. immigration and is an active advocate for U.S. immigration via his articles to the media and other publications. Gerald has a diverse background. He studied and lived in many countries, including France and Sweden for part of his Juris Doctor degree, Finland for his MBA, and China for his Master’s degree in Law. His personal experiences, as well as his years of experience as an Immigration lawyer instilled him a great passion for Immigration Law, enabled him to have an excellent understanding of what his client is going through and what it’s like to be an Ex Pat in a foreign country. Throughout Gerald’s professional career as a lawyer, he successfully represented many business owners to bring their skilled workers to the U.S., as well representing professional individuals to obtain their permanent resident status (green card status) in the U.S. Gerald’s legal background as an Immigration Attorney, combined with his diverse academic achievement with an MBA, MS Computer Science and Biological Sciences background enable him to competently handle complex and sophisticated Business and Employment based applications cases such as Investor visas such as EB-5 program and E visas, EB green cards, H1B visa, L1 and other related immigration matters. Gerald routinely works with sophisticated entrepreneurs, scientists, investors and other skilled professionals and has successfully represented many clients in obtaining their green cards and visas. Gerald served as an Adjunct Law Professor in the City Colleges of Chicago, IL where he taught the law of Contract and Business Law. He is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Natallie Santana – Associate Immigration Attorney

She has been working with the Cipolla Law Group since January 2014 where she received in-depth training under our principal lawyer Gerald Cipolla. While working as a team member of the Cipolla Law Group, she has worked on and become skilled in matters including family, employment and humanitarian based applications. As an immigration lawyer, Natallie continues to be a key team player at the Cipolla Law Group, providing excellent legal services to our clients. She has embraced the team approach of Cipolla Law Group of treating clients as she would want to be treated. Natallie earned her law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, School of Law (J.D., 2010). As a law student, she interned for the Honorable Francisco Besosa and Honorable Jay A. Garcia-Gregory at the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, where she performed legal research and drafted opinions on a variety of civil and criminal law issues. Natallie also holds an advanced degree in bankruptcy law from St. John’s University School of Law (LL.M., 2012). As an LL.M. student, she externed for the Honorable Elizabeth S. Stong at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. Born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, Natallie is bilingual in English and Spanish. Her multilingual capability and experience with federal courts allow her to provide excellent services to our diverse clientele at our law firm.
Outside the office, Natallie is a long-distance runner, avid reader, orchid enthusiast, and vintage vinyl record collector.

Katherine Sin – Administrator

She oversees the day to day operation and responsible for planning and implementing business strategies for our law firm. Katherine grew up in Hong Kong and was educated in England for most of her secondary school education. She received her LLB(Hons) Law degree from Cardiff University in Wales, United Kingdom, one of the Russell Group universities in the United Kingdom (equivalent to the Ivy League in the U.S.) and her LLM Master Degree in Law from the City University of Hong Kong. She is also a certified Mediator from DePaul University. Having lived and studied in Asia, England, Wales and the United States, her international experiences gave her the passion to meet people from around the globe and assist them with their legal matters. Katherine speaks, reads and writes fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. When Katherine is not working, she loves to read the bible, travel, cook, play with her cats and spend time with her boys.
