| Re-entry Permit Lawful permanent residents or conditional permanent residents that intend to remain outside the United States for more than one year, but less than two years, may apply for a re-entry permit. A re-entry permit will allow the Green Card holder to re-enter the United States while being outside of the United States for a period in excess of one year, but less than two years.
